The long leaves are little more delicate than your standard OP grade; they tend to make a light, coppery brew. The flavour is exactly what you want from proper Black Assam: rich and malty, tart and spicy, with wonderful heft and lots of character. You can drink it straight, for a peppy mid-morning EBT, or add a dash of milk and brown sugar to round out the profile. Every pantry needs a stash.
